Editorial standards and corrections

Plain claims, named sources

Uptime favors primary sources, current manufacturer documentation and direct observation. We do not invent tests, quotations, products used or personal experience. A recommendation explains its limits and the reader's tradeoff.

AI assistance

Research, transcription and drafting tools may assist. Doni remains responsible for topic choice and final publication. Each article is reviewed against its named sources before approval.

Corrections

Send a correction through the contact form and choose “Correction.” Substantive corrections change the reviewed date and are described in the article when the change affects the conclusion. Quiet spelling and formatting fixes do not receive a revision note.

Affiliate links

Uptime publishes an affiliate disclosure next to an article when it contains monetized links. A commercial relationship does not buy editorial approval. There are no fabricated partnerships, sponsor logos or audience claims.
